THURSDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE
Play begins Thursday March 16 &
Ends Thursday October 19
ENTRY FEE:
The Entry Fee $20 each night that you play (cash only). A portion of the entry fee goes directly towards credit book prizes at the end of each night while another portion will go directly towards the Super Scramble Cash payouts as well as nightly closest to the pin contests.
All players MUST ride – a 9-Hole Cart Fee will be billed to your account.
WEEKLY SIGN UPS:
Sign Ups open and an email is sent through Golf Genius at 7am each Thursday Morning that we play
The Maximum number of players each night is 64, and a waiting list will be taken. All sign ups are on a first come, first serve basis
START TIME:
The Scramble Season begins with a 5PM Shotgun Start and moves to 5:30pm, then a 6pm Shotgun Start during the mid-summer months and then back to 5PM by the end of the season.
FORMAT & TEAM SELECTION:
Format is A, B, C, D computer Blind Draw Scramble – your Teams and the hole you will start on will be posted on the Pro Shop Window half hour prior to the shot gun start.
If there are not enough players to have an even number of Foursomes, the highest D Index player(s) will be placed on the team with the Highest A index player(s) to create 5-man teams.
TEES:
Under 50: Medal Tees (Blue Tees)
Under 50 & 18+ Index: 3-Up Tees (Combined Blue-White Tees)
Over 50: Tradition Tees (Combination Blue-White Tees)
Over 60: Club Tees (White Tees)
Over 70 & +18 Index: Trophy Tees (Combined Red – White Tees)
Over 80 & +18 Index play from the Forward Tees (Red Tees)
WEEKLY PAYOUT:
Payouts will be based on sign ups each week.
All ties will be settled with a Scorecard Playoff from the hardest handicap hole, then second hardest handicap hole….
ALL SCORING WILL BE IN GOLF GENIUS BUT PLEASE BRING ALL SCORE CARDS TO THE PLAYERS CLUB AS SOON AS YOU ARE FINISHED!
SUPER SCRAMBLE QUALIFICATION:
Must play in a minimum of 5 Thursday Scrambles to qualify for the 18-Hole Super Scramble.
SUPER SCRAMBLE
Sunday October 29TH - 1:30PM Shotgun Start
ENTRY FEE:
The Entry Fee is $50. ($40 to be paid in cash (includes Entry Fee for Close Up on all 4 Par 3’s) AND $10 billed to your account for after the event hors d’oeuvres)
All players MUST ride – an 18-Hole Cart Fee will be billed to your account.
ELIGIBILITY:
The field will be held to a Maximum of 120 players. The tournament is open to all MGA Members that qualified by participating in at least 5 Thursday Night Scrambles on a first come first served basis.
FORMAT & TEAM SELECTION:
Format is A, B, C, D based on Index of the players signed up to play.
Teams will be blind drawn at a Players Pairing Party on Thursday October 22nd at 6:30 PM.
TEES:
Same as regular season
PAYOUT:
Payout will be to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
If there is a tie for the Overall Champion, there will be a Sudden Death Playoff.
If there is a tie for 2nd and/or 3rd place, there will be a score card playoff beginning on the hardest handicap hole, then the second hardest handicap hole….
